Man to face District Court for drug offences

On Tuesday 7 May, following an investigation, Murray Bridge Police and Dog Operations searched a Janice Street home.

Police located 2.6kilograms of a buttery substance believed to contain cannabis. Loose cannabis and prescriptions drugs not prescribed to the owner were also located.

A 44-year-old man from the address was arrested for traffic a commercial quantity of a controlled drug and possess prescription drug. His bail was refused and he appeared in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court where he was bailed to appear in the District Court on 24 December.
