Drink driver at Lowbank

A man has been reported for drink driving after being stopped at Lowbank.

On Friday 3 May police stopped a Mitsubishi Ute on the Sturt Highway and breath tested the driver.

The driver a 42-year-old man from Paringa allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.294 nearly six times the legal limit.

He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and his car was impounded. He will be summoned to attend in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
