Update: Fatal Crash Bordertown

A man has died following a crash at Bordertown overnight.

Just after 11.50pm on Wednesday 12 August, emergency services were called to the Dukes Highway following reports that a truck had left the road and collided with a tree.

Sadly, the driver, a 54-year-old man from Forestville, died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The Dukes Highway remains closed in both directions between Meatworks Road and Ramsay Terrace. Diversions are in place.

The mans death is the 75th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
