About 8.40pm on Saturday 22 August, police stopped a vehicle on Penola Road, Mount Gambier for a mobile driver test.  The driver, a 31-year-old Mount Gambier man, who holds a probationary licence, tested positive to cannabis.  Police checks revealed his vehicle was unregistered and uninsured.  He was reported and will be summons to appear in court at a later date.  He was also issued with a three-month instant loss of licence.

Just after 4pm on Saturday 22 August, a 15-year-old boy from Mount Gambier was stopped by police while driving on Sea Parade, Port MacDonnell.  The teenager was reported for driving unlicensed and their brother, a 22-year-old Mount Gambier man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was reported for causing/permitting a person to drive unlicensed.

Just before 9pm on Sunday 23 August, police were stationary on Commercial Street East, Mount Gambier, with emergency lights activated, conducting unrelated duties.  A female driver stopped behind the patrol car, swearing at police to move their vehicle.  The 25-year-old Mount Gambier woman subsequently tested positive to cocaine and will be issued with a three-month instant loss of licence and an expiation notice.

About 3.45pm on Monday 24 August, a 39-year-old Robe man was detected speeding at 120 km/h in a 110 km/h zone on the Princes Highway at Reedy Creek.  He also tested positive to methamphetamine.  He will be issued with a fine for speeding and drug driving and will receive a three-month instant loss of licence.
