Bus crash at Port Adelaide

About 8.45am today (Tuesday 25 August), police and emergency services were called to Commercial Road and Baynes Place after reports of a bus crashing into a concrete bridge support.

The driver, a 37-year-old man from Kensington Park was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 28-year-old woman who was a passenger was also taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Three other passengers were treated at the scene.

Road closures are in place until the scene has cleared.

Investigations are continuing.
