The following drivers have been stopped in Limestone Coast LSA over the weekend.
At 11:40 pm on Saturday 10 May, a 35-year-old man from Mount Gambier was stopped on Sutton Ave Mount Gambier.
The driver refused to submit to a roadside breath test and submit to a breath analysis test.
He was arrested and has been charged with failing to comply with an alcotest and refusing to provide his personal particulars. His vehicle was impounded by police for 28 days and he was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence. He will attend court at a later date.
At 10:20 pm on Sunday 11 May, police spotted a Ford sedan doing a 'burnout' at the roundabout near Jubilee Hwy and Penola Rd Mount Gambier.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Jubilee Highway East however the vehicle failed to stop.
Following investigations police to attend Kooringa St Mount Gambier where they located the vehicle and arrested the 23-year-old driver.
He has been charged with misuse of a motor vehicle, disobey direction to stop, drive suspended, fail to answer, drive unregistered, and drive uninsured.
The vehicle was impounded by police for 28 days. He will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on 24 June.
