House fire at Victor Harbor

Just before 3am on Saturday 10 May, emergency services were called to Somers Road at Victor Harbor after reports of a house fire.

The house was fully engulfed when patrols arrived on scene, but fire crews were quick to extinguish the blaze.

The fire is not considered to be suspicious.  Fire technicians will be attending the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Patrols searched the property and located a man deceased in a rear shed that had not been affected by the fire.  His death is not suspicious, and police will be preparing a report for the coroner.
