Woman arrested after Brooklyn Park car break-in

A woman has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a vehicle at Brooklyn Park.

Just before 2.45am on Monday 28 September, police were called to Wakefield Place, Brooklyn Park, after a resident received a notification on her phone and observed a woman allegedly trying to gain access to her Tesla sedan.

Patrols responded and spotted a woman on Henley Beach Road at Brooklyn Park matching the description.

The woman was searched and allegedly found in possession of cash believed to have been stolen from inside a vehicle. She was also issued with an expiation notice after allegedly being found in possession of cannabis.

The 25-year-old Brooklyn Park woman was arrested and charged with illegal interference with a motor vehicle and unlawful possession.

She was granted police bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 20 November.
