21 Sep 2026 7:15am

Police have arrested three people following a break-in at Woodville South this morning.

Just before 1.30am on Monday 21 September, police were called to a home on Angus Street after three people allegedly smashed a rear door and gained entry to the property.

The occupants were home asleep at the time but thankfully weren’t injured.

Police immediately responded and saw three men run off as they arrived in the street.

Two of the suspects fled over fences but were located in adjacent streets while Pd Hank found a third suspect hiding in a front yard a few houses away from the break-in.

Officers also discovered a stolen white Hiace van parked in the street which was allegedly used by one of the suspects.

Two men aged 43 and 57 of no fixed address and a 52-year-old man from Ridleyton were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and being unlawfully on premises. The 43-year-old man was further charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.

They will be refused bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
