Fatal crash Augusta Highway

A man has died following a crash at Baroota in the state’s mid north this morning.
About 9am on Sunday 2 August, police received a report of a single vehicle crash on the Augusta Highway at Baroota, about 8km’s north of Port Germein.
A Ford sedan left the road and rolled, coming to rest in a paddock.
The driver and sole occupant, a 46-year-old man from Salisbury, sadly died at the scene.
Major Crash officers have attended the scene to investigate the circumstances.
The man’s death is the 71st life lost on SA roads this year.
Police are asking anyone who drove along the Augusta Highway earlier this morning and saw the red Ford XR8 sedan or has any dashcam to come forward.
