A driver was reported after a crashed vehicle was found at Aberfoyle Park last night.
About 10.30pm on Saturday 1 August, police were called to London Road after reports an MG was found crashed on the footpath with extensive damage. It appeared the MG had been involved in a rollover however no one was found inside or nearby.
Police followed up at the registered owners address at Morphett Vale where police identified the alleged driver and its passengers.
The four passengers aged between 15 and 18 were all taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries. They are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
The driver, a 16-year-boy from Morphett Vale, was reported for a number of offences including driving in a manner dangerous, aggravated cause harm by dangerous driving, and contravening conditions of his learners permit. He was issued with an immediate loss of licence for 12 months and the car was towed from the scene.
He was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
