Police investigating serious crash at Henley Beach

13 Jun 2026 8:10pm

A woman has been seriously injured in a crash at Henley Beach.

Police and emergency services were called to Seaview Road just before 6pm on Saturday 13 June following reports an MG SUV had collided with a parked Toyota SUV before rolling onto its side.

The driver of the MG, a 71-year-old woman from Fulham, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being partially ejected from the vehicle and pinned during the crash. She was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police acknowledge and thank members of the public who quickly assisted at the scene, helping to roll the vehicle back onto its wheels so the driver could be freed.

Seaview Road was closed between Henley Beach Road and South Street while emergency services attended but reopened around 7.40pm.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken with police, or anyone with dashcam footage, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or call 1800 333 000, quoting reference 155644.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
