A South Australian man was arrested yesterday in relation to an interstate drug trafficking investigation.

He was refused police bail and remanded in custody.

On 24 June, a further package was intercepted by WAPOL, containing 573 grams of methamphetamine.

SA inquiries allegedly identified the same sender.

Yesterday, 14 July, Northern District detectives attended Yatala Labour Prison and arrested the 46-year-old Salisbury East man.  He was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, 15 July.
