Update ll: Serious crash at Eastwood

Just after 6am on Wednesday 8 May Emergency services were called to Glen Osmond Road after a Ford Ranger that had been heading toward the CBD lost control and crashed into a stobie pole.

The driver, a 48-year-old Adelaide man, was seriously injured in the crash and taken to hospital for treatment. As a result of the crash power was knocked out to the surrounding area.

Glen Osmond Road was closed for most of the day while Major Crash Investigators attended the scene and SA Power Networks crews worked to fix the power line, but reopened to all traffic about 5.30pm

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience and for members of the public who were first on scene and provided assistance.
