Cannabis and alcohol seized at Umuwa

About 1.30pm on Tuesday 21 May, Ernabella Police stopped a vehicle on the Umuwa to Amata Road, Umuwa, within the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands.

It will be alleged officer located a trafficable amount of cannabis and a quantity of alcohol in the vehicle.

The driver, a 35-year-old Port Pirie woman, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and possession of liquor on APY Lands.

She was bailed to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court on 8 July.
