Suspicious fire Whyalla Playford

About 6.30am on Tuesday 28 July, police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire at a home on Rudall Avenue.

The occupants of the home awoke to a fire at the front of the home and were able to safely escape and extinguish the fire with a hose.

Thankfully, they were not injured and there was no structural damage.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit and are seeking any witnesses to come forward.

Investigators have released vision of a suspect walking off after the fire ignites.
