A Port Lincoln man has been reported for drink and drug driving after being stopped by police on Friday night.
At about 10.15pm on Friday 3 July, police stopped a Mazda BT-50 on Hallett Place, Port Lincoln.
The 22-year-old driver underwent a breath test, which returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.138 – nearly three times the legal limit.
He was also subjected to a drug screening test, which returned a positive result for THC.
The driver was reported for drink driving and may face further charges pending forensic analysis of the drug test.
He was issued with an immediate six-month loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
