Drink driver crashes at Coffin Bay

About 5pm on Saturday 8 August, police and emergency crews were called to the Esplanade to reports of a Mitsubishi station wagon crashing into a tree.

The driver, a 24-year-old woman from Port Lincoln was not injured.

The driver was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive result of 0.195.

She was reported for drink driving and was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice.

She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
