Police want to identify jewellery

Port Lincoln Police are seeking the assistance of the public to help identify jewellery suspected of being stolen.

Officers found the jewellery while searching a suspect's Port Lincoln home after receiving a tip-off from the public.

Police found jewellery that had been reported stolen, but also uncovered a large quantity of other jewellery.  Some of it is generic, but some pieces would be readily identifiable to the rightful owner.

A 52-year-old Port Lincoln woman was arrested and charged with aggravated theft and will next appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 29 May.

Investigations are continuing.
