Firearms incident at Whyalla Norrie

About 1am on Friday 5 April, two men armed with a firearm entered a home on Harvey Street and assaulted the occupants. Police will allege that during the altercation the firearm was discharged. One of the occupants received minor injuries during the altercation.  The two suspects then ran off from the home.

Whyalla CIB are investigating the incident and are seeking information from anyone who may have heard or saw something in the early hours of that night.

Police do not believe this to be a random incident.
