Traffic stop leads to arrest St Peters

About 11.30pm on Wednesday 9 September, Eastern District patrols stopped a Ford ute on Payneham Road after noticing a television in the rear tray.

Police found three tv’s, various sound equipment and numerous items of jewellery which police suspect were stolen.

The driver and passenger of the car were searched with officers locating a knife in each of their possessions along with a face mask, gloves and a torch.

A 37-year-old man from Maylands and a 46-year-old man from Modbury Heights were charged with unlawful possession, possessing articles to commit an offence and carrying an offensive weapon. They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 5 November.
