Teen arrested after Morphett Vale break-in

Just after 5.20pm today (Wednesday 9 September), police were called to a house in Teusner Drive after a man and woman reported that a teenage boy had broken into their house.

The man chased the boy out the property.

The boy allegedly tried to open a car belonging to the victim, but ran off soon after being confronted by the victim.

Patrols searched the area and located the suspect nearby.

The 15-year-old Morphett Vale boy was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and illegal interference of a motor vehicle.

He was refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow.
