A driver will face court after he was caught performing a burnout at Two Wells.
About 8pm on Thursday 27 August, a Toyota ute was seen performing a burnout on Old Port Wakefield Road, Two Wells, outside the local police station.
The incident was heard by the on-duty police officer and captured on CCTV cameras installed as part of the recent refurbishment of the Two Wells Police Station. The upgraded facility accommodates additional staff and supports SAPOL's commitment to policing the rapidly growing community.
Police stopped the ute a short distance away and the driver underwent a breath test, returning a result of 0.172.
The 31-year-old Angle Vale man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle and drink driving. He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence, and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
