Suspicious fires in Barossa

Barossa Detectives are investigating a number of suspicious fires in Tanunda township during April.

On Monday 8 April, police and fire crews were called to the train line behind a supermarket at Tanunda after reports of a fire. CFS crews extinguished the blaze and fortunately no property was damaged as a result.

On Thursday18 April, a stack of pallets placed against the side of shed at a business premises has been set alight causing damage to the shed.

On Friday 19 April, a fire was lit at a business premises, fortunately there was no damage caused to the property.

The following day, on Saturday 20 April a small grass fire was started near a fence line on Basedow Road.

All fires have been in the vicinity of Basedow Road in Tanunda and are believed to have been deliberately lit.
