Salisbury Park go-kart hoon reported

About 1.15pm on Sunday 4 October, police received reports of a man driving a go-kart through Carisbrooke and Harry Bowey Reserves.

A number of families and children were present in the area at the time.

Police responded but were unable to locate the go-kart at that time.

A witness was able to provide officers with a description of the rider who was tracked down to a nearby home at Elizabeth Vale.

Police searched the property and located the go-kart underneath a tarp. It was subsequently impounded.

An 18-year-old man from Elizabeth Vale was reported for driving disqualified and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
