Hoon driver reported at Barossa Valley

Police have reported a man for driving offences yesterday afternoon.

About 2.30pm on Wednesday 10 June, police were called to Penrice Road at Nuriootpa after reports a Hyundai station wagon had been performing burnouts on an oval.

Further reports were received of similar offending involving the same vehicle at several locations across the region, including Tanunda, Freeling, Kapunda and Eudunda.

Police located the Hyundai a short time later and spoke with the driver, a 44‑year‑old man from Freeling.

He was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle and the car was impounded for 28 days.
