Drink driver detected at West Lakes Shore

About 2.40am today Tuesday 1 September, police stopped a Toyota sedan on Bartley Terrace for the purpose of a driver test.

Police will allege the driver a 36-year-old man from Osborne returned a positive result of 0.156 -more than three times the legal limit.

Police checks on the driver’s licence revealed that it was currently cancelled.

The driver was issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and the car was impounded for 28-days.

He will appear in court at a later date.
