B-Double crashes into stobie pole Croydon

Just before 8pm on Sunday 1 November, police were called to intersection of Thomas Street and Day Terrace, following reports a truck collided with a stobie pole and brought down power lines.

The truck driver was taken to hospital by Paramedics for treatment of minor injuries.

SA Power networks are at the scene repairing the damage.

The Day Terrace and Thomas Street intersection remains closed while the truck is towed from the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing by traffic members.
