Cars damaged in suspicious fire at Woodcroft

About 12.30am today (Wednesday 5 August), police were called to Mullen Close after reports of three Molotov cocktails being thrown at two cars parked in the driveway of a house.

Two of the items exploded and one remained intact, while a fourth was found intact in the street.

Residents of the house extinguished the flames. Minor damage was caused to a Subaru Impreza sedan and a Holden Commodore sedan.

A car was heard speeding away from the scene soon after the fire started.

Police believe this was not a random incident.
