Police are investigating a break-in at Christies Beach in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 2am today (Saturday 27 June), police were flagged down by a man on Beach Road. He advised police that a business had been broken into and rear door had been smashed, with items stolen from inside the premises.
After further investigation, a search of the man’s vehicle uncovered a large amount of cash that police suspected he may have obtained illegally.
The 22-year-old Morphett Vale man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession. He has been refused bail and will appear in court on Monday.
