Man arrested after break-in at Smithfield

Police have arrested a man following a break-in at a business at Smithfield overnight.
About 8pm on Sunday 7 June, police were called to a business on Main North Road after the owner reported an alarm activation.
Police were quickly in attendance locating the suspect inside.
The 22-year-old man from Angle Vale was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass.
His was granted police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
