Could Emergency Services Find You? Emergency+ app will help

The session will focus on Emergency+, a free smartphone app that helps emergency services identify and locate you more quickly during an emergency. It is a simple resource that everyone can benefit from and has the potential to save valuable time when every second counts.

The information is relevant to anyone who owns a mobile phone and is especially important in our rural community, particularly for those who enjoy camping, four-wheel driving, boating or fishing, where being able to accurately communicate your location in an emergency can make all the difference.

The seminar is open to all locals and visitors to the town.

The owners of the Waterfront Café have kindly agreed to reopen the café for the event, with coffee and cakes available for purchase. Please feel free to come along with any questions you may have for your local Police, SAAS or CFS representatives. We look forward to seeing you there. Because when an emergency happens, knowing exactly where you are could save your life.
