Emerald ring handed into Grenfell Street Police Station

9 Oct 2026 9:22am

An emerald ring was found in the city and handed in to a police station this week.

About 12.45pm on Wednesday 7 October, a member of the public was walking near the intersection of Pulteney Street and York Street, Adelaide and found an emerald ring.  It was immediately handed in to the Grenfell Street Police Station.

The ring is distinctive and has a name inscribed on the inside of the band.  It would no doubt have significant sentimental value to the person who lost it.

Police ask the owner of the ring to attend Grenfell Street Police Station or provide their details via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestopperssa.com.au and quote reference 261494.

Police thank the person who found and handed in the ring.
