Building fire in Elizabeth

Just after 8.15 pm, Saturday 23 May, police and MFS were called to Yorktown Road after reports of a building fire.

MFS attended and extinguished the blaze, thankfully no one was inside at the time.

Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene along with Northern District Detectives to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Investigations are ongoing and Police believe the fire was deliberately lit.
