A man has been arrested after carrying offensive weapons in the Adelaide CBD overnight.
Just before 12.45am on Saturday 29 August, police were called to Paul Kelly Lane, after reports of a man with a hammer acting aggressive in the area.
Police attended and located a 35-year-old Gilles Plains man in possession of a two hammers and a screwdriver.
The man provided false details to police until a finger print scanner confirmed his identity, revealing he had an outstanding warrant.
He was arrested for the warrant and charged with carrying an offensive weapon and providing false details to police.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
