Members of Goolwa NHW with Senior Sergeant Darren Parker.

Goolwa

Goolwa Neighbourhood Watch has a focus on road safety. It provides high visibility vests for gopher riders and school children who ride bikes so they can be more easily seen on the road. The group also distributes bike helmets to children and adults who cannot afford them.

Kingston SE

Kingston SE Neighbourhood Watch stencils house numbers on kerbs so it is easier for emergency services to find houses in an emergency.

Klemzig

Klemzig Neighbourhood Watch works closely with the local council to remove graffiti within 24 hours of it being reported.

Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge Neighbourhood Watch has a ‘little library’ book swap inside the local Drakes supermarket. The group also supports the L2P program, which assists people to get their drivers licence if they don’t have someone with a full licence to supervise them to complete their required driving hours.

Woodcroft

Woodcroft Neighbourhood Watch hosts an annual ‘Carols in the Park’ event to build connections between local families, businesses and community groups. The event provides a safe environment for families, neighbours and residents to connect. And connected communities tend to have less crime.

Whyalla

Whyalla (227) Neighbourhood Watch works with local police to regularly hold stalls at the local shopping centre to share crime prevention information with community members.
