Drink-driver caught in Laura

About 9.25pm on Friday 5 September, police stopped a silver Mitsubishi sedan on Herbert Street for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 60-year-old local woman underwent a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.137.

She was reported for drink driving, issued a six month immediate loss of licence notice and her car was impounded for 28 days.

She will be summonsed to appear in Port Pirie Magistrates Court at a later date.
