Man to appear in court after drugs found in Port Vincent

A man will appear in court after cannabis was found at a Port Vincent property.

It will be alleged that about 12.45pm on Wednesday 7 May, police attended a house in Curramulka Road and located three cannabis plants and 17 resealable bags of cannabis with a total weight of 3.1 kilograms.

The occupant of the address, a 65-year-old man from Port Vincent was reported for cultivating cannabis and possessing a traffickable amount of cannabis.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Maitland Magistrates Court at a later date.
