Suspicious behaviour at Taperoo

Just before 7.20am, Thursday 6 August, a girl reported to police that she was walking along Arkaba Street when she was approached by an unknown man. He spoke with her briefly. She left the area and alerted her parents.

The man is described as having a tanned complexion, with a medium build, about 170cm tall with brown hair. He was wearing dark pants and t-shirt with an unbuttoned checkered shirt.

She was not physically injured as a result of this alleged incident.

Police ask anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed any suspicious behaviour or has any CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward.
