Speeding P plater caught at Dry Creek

A P2 driver was detected speeding at Dry Creek last night.

Just after 8.30pm on Wednesday 12 August, police stopped a white Holden utility on the Port River Expressway after it was detected travelling at 137km/h in a 90km/h speed zone.

The driver was found to be the holder of a Provisional 2 Licence.

A 21-year-old man from Munno Para was reported for aggravated excessive speed and two counts of breaching his provisional licence conditions. He was issued with a six-month instant loss of licence and the vehicle was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
