Update: Fatal crash at Oakbank

A man has died following a crash at Oakbank yesterday.

Just after 7am Monday 15 September, police and emergency services were called to Onkaparinga Valley Road following reports that a car had collided with a pedestrian.

Tragically the pedestrian, a 76-year-old man from Mount Barker, later died in hospital.

The driver of the KIA SUV, a 55-year-old woman from the Adelaide Hills, was not physically injured.

Major Crash officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
