Update - Serious crash Gawler Belt

Redbanks Road has reopened following a crash at Gawler Belt this evening.

About 6.45pm on Saturday 27 September, police were called to Redbanks Road near Clancy Road after a Holden 4WD and Suzuki sedan collided.

The driver and sole occupant of the Suzuki, a 19-year-old woman from Para Hills West, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital in Adelaide. Her injuries are not considered life threatening.

The Holden driver, a 27-year-old woman from Mallala, was not injured

Redbanks Road was closed for several hours while Barossa police investigated the crash but reopened about 9pm.
