A driver has been fined after a car and bus collided head-on at Old Reynella Thursday morning.
Just after 8am Thursday 1 May, police and emergency services were called to Old South Road, Old Reynella after reports that a car had collided with a bus. The bus had passengers on board at the time of the collision, however, thankfully the driver and passengers were not injured. The driver and solo occupant of the car received minor injuries and was taken to hospital for assessment.
As a result of the police investigation into the collision, the driver of the car, a 17-year-old boy from Woodcroft was issued an expiation notice for driving without proper control, totalling, $323.
Traffic on Old South Road and Reynell Road was delayed for a short time after the crash for the clean-up and for passengers of the bus to be moved onto a substitute service.
