P-plater loses their licence after being caught drink driving

About 12.45am this morning Tuesday 13 October, police spotted a Ford sedan turn onto Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf and failed to indicate.

Police stopped the Ford and submitted the driver an 18-year-old local girl to a driver test which police will allege returned a positive result of 0.187 – more than three times the legal limit.

The driver was reported for drink driving, issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
