Extreme speeder's car impounded at Tennyson

About 9.30am on Friday 25 September, motorcycle police were conducting speed detection duties on Military Road when they detected a Holden sedan travelling at 124 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The driver, a 20-year-old man from Salisbury North, was stopped and found to be a provisional licence holder who was not displaying his P plates.

The man was reported for aggravated extreme speed and three counts of breaching his licence conditions. He was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence, and the car was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
