E-bike riders reported in western suburbs

About 1.30pm on Saturday 19 September, police were called to North Haven Beach to reports of people riding e-bikes through the sand dunes and causing a disturbance.

Police with the assistance of PolAir and Dog Operations Unit PD Enzo tracked the riders to a nearby address.

Police located two 13-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy from North Haven along with a 16-year-old boy from Largs North.

The group were reported for numerous offences including driving at a manner dangerous, misuse of a motor vehicle, riding unlicenced and driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.

The 16-year-old boy was issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice, and they will all be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.

The e-bikes were impounded for 28 days.
