Drunk driver crashes at Unley Park

Just after 3.30am, Monday 9 June police attended reports a Toyota SUV had crashed into a parked car on Northgate Street causing the Toyota to roll over and come to a rest on its roof.

Luckily the driver, an 18-year-old woman from Hyde Park escaped without injury. She was breath tested by patrols, allegedly returning a reading of 0.117 twice the legal limit.

Checks on her licence revealed that she was the holder of a P2 licence, meaning she must not drive with any alcohol.

She was reported for drink driving, due care, breach licence conditions. She was issued a six-month instant loss of licence and will be summoned to attend court at a later date.
