Woman reported for drug offences at Hyde Park

About 8pm on Tuesday 4 August, Dog Operations Unit officers stopped a Toyota station wagon on Unley Road in relation to traffic offences.

While speaking with the driver, a 20-year-old Pennington woman, officers detected a strong smell of cannabis emanating from the vehicle.

Police, with the assistance of PD Orla, searched the vehicle and located approximately 100 grams of cannabis, a glass bong and prescription medication.

All items were seized by police.

The woman was issued with a cannabis expiation notice for cannabis offences and was reported for possessing prescription medication without a prescription.
