UPDATE: House fire at Marleston

About 6.15am today Tuesday 23 September, police and MFS were called to Barnes Avenue after reports of a house fire.

Police and fire crews were quickly on scene where fire crews extinguished the blaze, but not before extensive damage was caused.

The property was vacant at the time and there are no reports of injuries.

Road closures were in place but have since reopened.
