Teen arrested carrying knife at Morphett Vale

About 1.40am on Tuesday 8 September, patrol officers were travelling on Flaxmill Road near Main South Road when they saw three males walking along the southern footpath. Two of the youths were wearing face coverings.

Police stopped and spoke with the group. During subsequent searches, officers located four Telstra fuel cards, a gloves and a large knife concealed on a 16-year-old Morphett Vale boy.

The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with unlawful possession, carrying an offensive weapon and carrying an article of disguise.

He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court at a later date.
